Predesigned Website Banners & Favicons

Predesigned web banner color themes are available to Rutgers units in order to apply the minimum identity standards easily. While not mandatory, their use contributes to a cohesive visual appearance for the university as a whole. These web banners may not be resized or altered in any way unless approved by University Brand and Marketing. To request a custom web banner, please contact the visual identity project manager.

Information required to build a custom web banner is:

• Unit name
• Banner color desired
• Font color desired
• Banner size

Each banner file contains

• Rutgers logotype
• Your unit's name
• Background colors: red (#cc0033), black (#000000), or white (#ffffff)

Additional banner elements available upon request

• Navigation items such as links to the university homepage, campuses, and website search engine
• Chancellor-level signatures
• School, college, or unit signatures
